Yes thats right - even when your children are home and awake.

"Q NETWORK", MTV's "LOGO", " HERE", and Canadian "PRIDEVISION" will be coming into your home through the cable you are already subscribed to.

MTV's new "LOGO" brand gay programming should be hitting your cable sometime in May - so if you don't want it I suggest you call your cable company and your congressman and let them know you don't want it! If Cox tries to tell me the can't shut it off - I'll cancel my cable and become a troglodite or order sattellite - but I expect they will pick it up too. I think its very offensive that they resort to tactics like this. I expect I'll end up saying something to the effect of "I don't care if its no extra charge - I don't want that crap in my house." I already can't stand the gay programming on primetime - maybe this will keep their garbage off the stuff I watch - but I tend to doubt it. There is absolutely NO evidence that it is genetic. Were homosexuality a genetic trait, then fewer people would be choosing that lifestyle rather than more because it works to cycle itsself out of existence due to its very nature - if you were to follow that line of rationale. Such a genetic trait would fight against its own survival and runs contrary to both conventional wisdom as well as natural law including evolutionary natural growth toward survival of a species. Homosexuality does nothing to further our species either genetically or reproductively.

"Day of Silence" followed by "Day of Truth"

Conservative Students are lashing out at the liberal "Day of silence" campaign by using the following day to spread the truth in an effort to show liberals they won't back down.

"Participating students are being offered T-shirts with the slogan "The Truth Cannot be Silenced" and cards to pass out to classmates Thursday - the day following the Day of Silence - declaring their unwillingness to condone "detrimental personal and social behavior."... I attended church in for one year. My parents divorced and then my Dad would not let me go to that church or any other. I was not allowed to attend church again until my 8th grade year. I began going only on Wednesday nights. For four years I attended on Wednesday nights, but I was not truly living as a Christian. I believed, but was a cultural Christian, acting like I was a good Christian boy. I was active in the youth group and had several Christian friends. My life gained a new hope – but I wasn’t quite certain where God wanted me to be. My dad remarried and we relocated my junior year of high school. My new step-mom attended the city’s First Baptist Church. I began going there. After about 4 months I knew it was the home for me. One Sunday morning in October I was sitting in the balcony. The pastor gave the altar call – but something was different. I felt a rush of something indescribable. I felt the urge to rush down the aisle and I couldn’t contain myself! I stood and my parents stopped me. They said I could go next Sunday because I was wearing jeans and a button up shirt. I wasn’t dressed appropriately to stand at the front of the church. I sat down and something was pulling at me to go anyway! I told my Dad “I have to go now!” I jumped up and ran down the isle, down the stairs and to the front of the church. My step-mom glared at me disapprovingly when we left church – but I didn’t care because it was about something bigger than pride. Two weeks later I was baptized. As I stood in the baptismal waters I reflected back on the words Jesus heard, saying: “This is my son in whom I am pleased. I didn’t exactly hear God talking – but I felt his presence and those words popped into my head. From that moment, my life would be different. My spiritual journey began taking off. That summer, following graduation, was another of the most important moments in my life. I went on a mission trip to Washington D.C. It was great. I had a chance to see things I had never seen. I initially went for the wrong reasons, but that made no difference because God knew the outcome of that trip and my motives soon changed. When we arrived we began working with a food shelter and helping with a vacation bible school at a local church. It was fun. We took tours every afternoon and worked in the mornings. The last night of that trip I will never forget. We returned to the pool of reflection at the base of the Lincoln Memorial near the Washington monument. We all talked about what God had done in our lives. We then stood to pray – 22 of us in a prayer circle. We stood there for at least 45 minutes, and people gathered around to join us. In the center of one of the world’s most famous and most crowded cities it seemed that time had stood still. Something that can only be described as the Holy Spirit flowed through me. I felt peace that I didn’t know existed and gained understanding of things that I had previously questioned. In one night God gave me justification for faith. He took away every doubt I had and showed me why I had believed. I understood finally the reason the persecuted throughout history chose to die for their faith. Once you know and understand that truth, and know that it is fully truth – it’s impossible to deny it. You can lie to yourself and you can try to justify your actions, but deep down you know the truth. Everything in my life had led up to this point and once you see God working in your life – its impossible to completely stop believing. My journey continued on through Jr. College at a Christian School. I was living with some of the most dedicated Christians I had ever met in my life. God gave me two years to mature in my faith and I learned a lot about who I was and who God wanted me to be. I then went on to a larger 4-year school. I was no longer known. I was anonymous. I could do anything I wanted and be anyone I wanted. I chose to follow Christ – at first. I was a youth intern for FBC Huntsville and had a great semester. I returned the following fall. I had had a depraved summer neglecting my faith and everything was falling apart for me spiritually. I realized that you can’t always stay on the mountain top. But when you’ve been on one for a while it hurts pretty bad when you take that long fall back down. I spent another semester playing Christian again. When I came back in the fall of 2002 it was different. I had spent the summer trying to better myself. I came to hear of a new group on campus and was surprised to learn that several of my Christian friends were a part of it. I became a part of BYX – Brothers Under Christ. I have seen some good times and bad times but through the help of my brothers and through Christ I know I can get through anything. Now I’ve graduated and have moved on, become married, and grown a lot in spirituality and in maturity. There are times that I don’t feel as strong as I used to, and there are times when I have strength like never before. The important thing is to stay focused on God and everything else seems to just fall into place.

Seperation Anxiety

There are a lot of people down on organized religion. There are a lot of individuals within different denominations that choose to look only at differences and because of that forget the similarities among us. In the beginning there was only one church – and there still remains only one body of believers, fragmented though we may be. If we look at the similarities though – we all look to Jesus for guidance and try to pattern ourselves after him.

Once politics gets involved it can get ugly, and I know several in different levels of clergy and church service that play the political games within the church.

I think a lot of people fail to understand where Christians get our views and are quick to dismiss us as ignorant and/or bigoted. Their ignorance and bigotry toward us only tends the skew their views of us. I don’t believe one can express faith irrationally because every one I know that is sincere in their walk is very rational and well educated – being very passionate, open, and honest about their faith. My issue with people who don’t understand is that its much easier to dismiss faith than it is to try to understand it.

Another issue I have is with the idiots who espouse a separation of church and state. First and foremost – there is nothing in the constitution about this. The first amendment clearly states that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…”

That seems pretty clear to me. It basically says government can’t step in and refuse a group that wants to establish a religion. It also says government cannot prohibit people from exercising that religion. The whole church vs. state thing came from a paper Thomas Jefferson wrote:

” Mr. President

To messers Nehemiah Dodge, Ephraim Robbins, & Stephen S. Nelson

a committee of the Danbury Baptist association in the state of Connecticut.

Gentlemen

The affectionate sentiments of esteem & approbation which you are so good as to express towards me, on behalf of the Danbury Baptist association, give me the highest satisfaction. my duties dictate a faithful & zealous pursuit of the interests of my constituents, and in proportion as they are persuaded of my fidelity to those duties, the discharge of them becomes more & more pleasing.

Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between man & his god, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, and not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, thus building a wall of separation between church and state. [Congress thus inhibited from acts respecting religion, and the Executive authorised only to execute their acts, I have refrained from presenting even occasional performances of devotion presented indeed legally where an Executive is the legal head of a national church, but subject here, as religious exercises only to the voluntary regulations and discipline of each respective sect.] Adhering to this expression of the supreme will of the nation in behalf of the rights of conscience, I shall see with sincere satisfaction the progress of those sentiments which tend to restore to man all his natural rights, convinced he has no natural right in opposition to his social duties.

I reciprocate your kind prayers for the protection and blessing of the common Father and creator of man, and tender you for yourselves and your religious association, assurances of my high respect & esteem.

(signed) Thomas Jefferson
Jan.1.1802.”

The “wall of separation” of which he wrote was an assurance that the government would not be a tyrannical ruler restricting the religious rights of congregants. It was intended to protect the congregants from a state that conceivably could try to control those rights. It was never intended to keep public figures from exercising their individual rights and expressing their faith, hope, and belief.

Furthermore – I’m tired of foolish people trying to put down religious people based on their values citing an infringement of separation of church and state issues. I guess they don’t realize that our faith is so ingrained in who we are that it is impossible to separate our values from who we are. And on top of that they tend to think we are judgmental when we just follow the values laid down by God's word rather than embracing immorality. We didn't write the rules - we just live by them. I'll remain friends with someone with an alternative lifestyle. I have no problem with them as an individual. I draw the line at embracing their poor choices and endorsing their views when they differ with mine. I also refuse to allow them to preach these false, agenda-laden ideals to children.

It is insane to expect conservative leaders who live by their values to ignore those values when it comes time to vote on and write law regarding issues they believe strongly about. I pity those poor broken souls because that expect this. I don’t think they have much hope. They seem broken down inside and so filled with hate. I really feel bad for them more than anything – but I’ll protect my rights over them trying to strip them from me any day. Even if they are too shortsighted to see what they are working toward.

Interview

I interviewed today at my job for a different position - which I'm not quite qualified for - come to find out. The most wreckless part of this story is how

someone in the Department of Homeland Security reported to

local media that the guy used an AK-47. This was stated hours

before he was apprehended - so they couldn't know that. So just

like following the courthouse shooting just a couple of blocks

away from here I hear "assault rifle" "and AK-47" splashed all

across the local tv media. That turned out to NOT be an AK-47

during the courthouse shooting. But I'm sure most people don't

know the difference or didn't hear that info anyway. Can they

be any less obvious about sensationalism? They shouldn't report

on the 'facts' about a case before they have them. Thats just

absurd. By the way - the ONLY difference between an AK-47 and a

mini-14 which is a common deer rifle - is a flash suppressor on

the barrel, and a rubber grip on the barrel - as well as

sometimes a folding stock. Thats it! I don't see people

screaming about mini 14's. And what exactly is a high powered

rifle? The only things involved in "powering" a rifle are the

diameter of the bullet and the powder charge which is ignited

by a primer. These people are nuts. And ALL firearmss (except

for single shot weapons) are semi-automatic. That just means

you pull the trigger it fires; you pull the trigger it fires...

When will people learn that stuff like this is going to happen

as long as people make irrational decisions? At least they

caught this guy and can make an example out of him.

Update: They found out at 3:54 PM it was an AR-15. So they were

wrong. Point proven...

What's in a name?

It seems they are at it again. Libs are trying to remove the name Thomas Jefferson from an elementary school because he "once owned slaves." Forget that he inherited them from his father and wanted to set them free - but could not because he was barred by law. Forget that he worked harder than any founding father to abolosh slavery. Also, forget that He accomplished the following:

1769 -- Prepared a bill to abolish the importation of slaves
in the state of Virginia.
Also promoted the first law in Virginia that allowed
the freeing of a slave.

1770 -- Howell vs. Netherland.
Jefferson argued for a slave's freedom on basis that all men
are born with inalienable rights to freedom.
This slave had been transported
into a free territory.

1774 -- "A Summary View of the Rights of British America"
detailed how the king had opposed
colonies on control and reduction of slave trade.

1776 -- "Declaration of Independence" had one section
condemning George III and his support of slavery.
This was eliminated by Congress in order to conciliate
Georgia and South Carolina.

1776 -- Proposed Constitution for the state of
Virginia had provision to eliminate slavery
gradually beginning in 1800.

1778 -- Presented a proposal to Virginia General
Assembly to abolish slavery. Helped pass a
Virginia law preventing the
importation of any slaves.

1783 -- Proposed all slave children born
after 1800 be freed

1784 -- Northwest Territories Bill, provision
to eliminate slavery in those territories.
No one would be born into slavery after 1800
in any new state admitted into the union.
This provision lost by one vote.

1785 -- "Notes on the State of Virgina"
details detrimental effect of slavery
on both slave and master.

1787 -- Northwest Ordinance, passed
while Jefferson was in Paris,
was based on his earlier Bill (1784)

1804 -- Law which provided for the emancipation
of slaves in New Jersey

1808 -- As President, signed Act banning
slave trade with Africa.

Read these Thomas Jefferson quotes on
slavery and racial policy.

So is the fact that he owned slaves, and knew the issue
inside and out from first hand experience thereby enabling
him to utilize his political power to make changes to simply be ignored?
Or should we let blowhards harp on in their blind ignorance and attempt
to revise history by not educating children (or themselves for that matter)
on what really happened? You know - the ones that have a minute by minute update. The ones that are plastered all over every front page, and given significant air-time by every major network and every local affiliate for the sake of having the same story that everyone else has. Here's a novel idea... Instead of hanging out at the courthouse all day - why not seek out interesting news that no one else has, and giving lip service to the information that you can get from a quick phone call. After all isn't 'new' the operative part of the word news? I mean - stop it all ready! Get off your duff and report on things happening in your area. Find some heart wrenching human interest story; talk about some issue that impacts people in your readership. Give me a quick update when each phase of the trial is over, and then stop talking about it the day he is convicted and sentenced. Otherwise - go ahead and stick cameras in the courtroom, support your local video production market by hiring a director and a crew and just designate a national channel to airing high profile cases. Then people who care about individual cases can watch them and the rest of us don't have to suffer.

Procrastination - whats your cure?

I really should be editing some video concepts I scripted to some stock footage, and I need to call some local guys about a couple of shoots I want to set up. We like having set schedules and once we have our internal clocks set - we don't want them screwed with. I don't like resetting any clock - as referenced by my the flashing blue beacon on my vcr constantly telling me its 12:00 . (Hey its right twice a day - don't look at me like that.)

Seriously - whats the point?

Some say Ben Franklin invented this shifting of time. Many say it gained footing and started being practiced during WWI to save fuel in lamps. While others site new reasons for supporting this massive destroyer of schedules and depriver of sleep, their arguments seem lost on me. Does anyone else have issues with DST - or is it just me? One thing is certain... We Won!!!! 4 more years... 4 more years... but what's that sound? Just coming over the horizon - statistically is something we have to worry about.

Its another generation brought up on lies perpetrated by the liberal left based in false ideology some crackhead dreamed up while tripping on LSD in the 60's - that the rest of the free wheeling - commune living - peace love happiness and lose our minds over drugs and whatever libertarian-liberal-communist 1984 brave new world manifesto we can think up next bought hook line and sinker and pre packaged for your convenience delivered to your doorstep.

Why is this a problem? Because there are two generations now of college professors slanting their biased views and forcing them down naiieve students' throats while they're protected by ivory towers and a free thinking philosophy that has its own mandate - if only a self created mandate crafted and respun to look fresh in the form of the radical left liberals in the democratic party that loathes democracy.

Now their ideas appear to have more merit because they are based on a previous generation's flawed views - with footnotes attached to make it more official. The key problem here is a lie based upon a lie based upon a false ideology that was dreamed up and sold on a platform of we're right solely because we're the voice of dissent - remains what it is - a lie based upon false doctrine.

What am I trying to say with my extreme stream of conciousness ramblings?

This false doctrine is continually seeping into the minds of our youth via the internet, television and all access hollywood 24/7.

Why is this dangerous? They know they lost. They know they can't change anything overnight. But the election results spoke of something very clear.

There are far more liberals openly espousing their radical misguided views based on what they have been socialized to believe - and very near half the country believes in voting along party lines that support the platforms they base those ideologies on.

This is scary because at no time in our nation's history could standing on a platform for abortion, gay rights for 'marriage', and whatever other third party whackjob interest ideology you can come up with - would have championed anywhere NEAR as many votes as they did.

The votes show a couple of things - citizens are concerned about terrorism, they are willing to vote for their own safety and children's protection, and if there were no war on terror - the moral issues would have been the deciding factor in the campaign.

And we would have lost - because the moral relativism in our country has taken away the ideological perspective of the younger generations. This is definitely something we have to watch in the future - and the left knows this.

They may pull away from the radicals for the next two or three election cycles to regain power - but rest assured - they will definitely be back - bringing even more brainwashed idealists with no historical or sociological perspective of understanding and rationale.

Its really moving away from our base and we need to be sure to not let it slide by unnoticed again.

Red Vs. MoveOn.

We need to work with the Democratic Party now to put our country back together - but the idiots at the Democratic Underground and the rest of the fringe wackos need to realize they did their job (poorly though it may be - they certainly tried hard enough) {Click Here for Evidence} - and - though the welfare checks keep coming in - the contract with the Democratic Party has expired.

My advice to the Democratic leaders? Look around you - the loud - obnoxious - annoying and seething pontificators drawing up war plans focused on strategizing around the 'red' states are the guys that have overstayed their welcome. They need to be bussed back to the green party headquarters, PETA, and greenpeace respectively - and don't forget the 5th street shelter. (Site for Wacko Ideology) If were going to pull this out and come back together - you guys need to clean house and stop listening to those wackos.

Once you guys move back to the middle and stop pandering to interest groups that only offer money and off the cuff idealism without substantial, rational, and meaningful - well-thought-out direction we can continue repairing this country back to the waking giant it once was. If we come back together - we can focus on taking out the extremists in Fallujah and start working on our campaign to knock out the remaining terrorist cells.

George Soros can best help by starting a mental health facility for all the Americans that quit taking their meds around October. Apparently the election took their focus off of that - because up until recently it got progressively worse. (Is that what they mean by being progressives? Oh I get it now...)

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://conservativeright.blogspot.com/2004/11/red-vs-blue.html' title='Red Vs. (He may be dumb enough to politicize those deaths and make them seem in vain - but I don't think he's dumb enough to post a false list - then again its REALLY difficult for me to extend to him ANY credit) After all - his relevance was auctioned off on ebay the other day - why not what's left of his strawman-credibility. While you ponder that here's a link to his site. (Yes - I risk giving him more hits - but understand most of what he says is a backlash - and deep down its a cry for help that screams "Does anyone like me yet? Well I guess I'll just try to piss you off more then!")

http://www.michaelmoore.com/

Now on to the meat of this post. I'm really tired of the left's self aggrandizing - and self appointed monopolizing of 'compassion.' Check out the guy's post in the comments section of The Right Blog. He goes by anonymous - and acts like the poster boy of the democratic underground.

Click Here To See His Post

The point is they can't see the forest from the trees. What do I mean? I offer an example in statistics - (and I'm not talking zogby's polling numbers here.)

Check this out:

American Deaths in:

Revolutionary War: 4,435
Civil War: 498,332
WWI: 116,708
WWII: 407,316
Vietnam War: 58,168

Total in all U.S. Wars: 1,150,244

Now for the clencher...

Abortions since 1973:
35,000,000

source: www.otherside.net

Yes, thats 35 million - folks.

They claim the moral high ground over a few more than 1,000 deaths - which as tragic as that is - they use it as a political attack against a war thats saving far more lives than its taking and is improving the quality of life overall. Then they get upset that the election is decided on morals! ??? Does anyone understand that one - because I sure don't!

Anyway - I think these numbers speak for themselves, and trying to claim moral relevance over something like that when their stance on abortion clearly nullifies any arguments they claim based on a respect for human life. Just thought you should see that.

Post-Emptive Strike???

Its reasons like THIS HEADLINE HERE the media should have some level of control in place keeping them from running certain types of stories about the war.

I mean - why not just send them a letter explaining exactly how we plan to attack. People voting for moral reasons generally
vote for like minded people and want to keep from falling down the slippery
slope - from which there is no return.

Also - they generally see integrity and morality as synonymous - being a part of the whole makeup of the person and how effective they will be as a leader. If I don't respect someone on a moral level - I will have no confidence in their integrity or honesty as a leader or as an individual.

If we were to set legal precedence by allowing certain behaviours to become
state sanctioned as ok - it sends not only a message of acceptance to our
children and the morally disinclined that certain things are ok, but future
generations that will oppose the obvious social ramifications for endorsing
such actions will have no leg to stand on if court decisions are in place - and
liberal activist judges both in and out of the supreme court would continue
legislating if there were no public outrage against it.

These issues include abortion, (Roe vs. Wade is a prime example because after
Roe grew up she has come out and said she was wrong and apologized - but it was
too late and she can't take back what she did and the court argument is in
place.) stem cell research, gay marriage (contradiction in terms), etc.

There has been an ongoing movement to supress religious freedoms and erode
morality - and I think this election proves that people aren't going to stand
by and take it anymore.

The Silent "Moral Majority" has spoken.

Election Round Up

OK, to start off - President Bush, I applaud you on your victory and welcome you to four more years in office.
To the Bush administration, staffers, and republican volunteers who worked on the campaign - Thank you all for the effort, time, and energy you guys put into this campaign - you have glorified America.
To John Kerry, I thank you for having the courage and honesty for conceding defeat and not sinking to the level of the fringe of your base by dragging this country through an arduous legal battle.
To the freaks and activists at the democraticunderground, Moveon.org, et al - give it a rest all ready. Its not the end of the world. You were wrong get over it and... well... move on.
I've seen more allegations today regarding polls (surprise, surprise)
Let me say that polls are not to be trusted - did you learn NOTHING in 2000?
The problem with polls:If polls were at all accurate - they'd all say the exact same thing. They are NOT SCIENTIFIC and the way they are done its nearly impossible to get an untainted sample. The people sampling have a personal bias and if they don't account for that - the polls will be skewed. Due to that bias - they poll certain types of people based on geographic area or phone polls (which are statistically not representative because many people no longer have home phones at all)
Most conservatives ignore being polled because they view the media as biased and want nothing to do with participating in their studies. Also - most don't want to talk to media types at all. (I know this because I work in media - the general distrust for media is widespread - you can thank the networks for behaving... well the way they always behave)
Also - this is why conservatives are considered the silent majority. They remain silent - you ignore them and assume they are complacent and uninformed then you are completely surprised when they come out to support the only logical choice for President (Bush) based on issues. They generally tune out all the foolish rhetoric and ads and focus on the things that matter to them. These issues are for the most part the moral issues that seem illogical when based in an overtly morally-relativist and secular/multiculturalist worldview. You generally, based in this mindset, attempt to rationalize based on convenience and percieved benefit rather than looking deeper into the issue and how it affects individuals on a morally relevant level. Then you futher rationalize in your flawed thinking that you have the only correct answer without properly weighing all sides - maybe you balance it by discussing it with a few like-minded people and then you set yourself up for failure by never attempting to understand the other side's arguments and why they believe what they do. If you want to play the politics game, you have to truly understand all sides and not call names until you know the sentiment behind both the rationale and the name.

4 MORE YEARS!!!!!!

Sorry I couldn't follow the election on this site - I work at a newspaper and put their site together - so Ihad to update that site all night. This is behind us now - and the only thing left guiding this process now is God, so be in Prayer this week for our governmental leaders and judiciary - because its going to be a "long hard slog."

Keep in perspective that all things happen for a reason and that all things work together for the glory of God. Your security is in your own hands and each state which does not harm our security will remain safe. " (This message was approved by Osama Bin Hidin')

This was one of the things that stood out most about the statement in my mind. Why now? Why would he come out now? To influence the election? Has this not verified that there is still a threat? It seems that this could be good for Bush.. or Kerry depending on how you look at it. It verifies for Libs (in their twisted perspective) that Bush has 'failed' once again and that he is still out there - threatening us still. But it shows Americans that Osama is still alive and with his resurfacing - offers fresh hope of capturing him. At the very least it erases the doubt and lingering unrest about whether he is still around. This could push undecideds (or at this point they could be called the willfully ignorant) in either direction at the polls. This is DEFINITELY an unprecedented election in so many ways - political analysts must be going NUTS!!! When Fox said this they gave a VERY strong impression that it was planned to be released by CBS as another attempt to undermine the Bush administration, and that it was given over to the New York Times so that it wouldn't A. look like another of Rather's blunders, and B. would seem less inclined to be politically motivated in light of CBS's recent misadventures in media manipulation. I also overheard someone on Fox say they had been sitting on this story since at least last week - and yet another anouncer said they knew that CBS had the story first because they broke it the day it originally happened way back at the beginning of the Iraq war. (Apparently it wasn't as big of a story before the election campaign neared the end.) Just a few interesting talking points I overheard...

Here's a link to DrudgeReport linked from Instapundit that discusses the conspiracy to run this story to knock the election off kilter:

Here's some well thought out commentary on the subject.

Here's a related story from the Fox Website.

I won't be updating the site much this week - I'm incredibly busy because my boss is on vacation and I'm doing both our jobs in addition to setting up election stuff for the site at work. He offered two personal examples.

In the first - a friend of his from Medical
School was an OB-GYN just north of Galveston
in a small community. In the face of rising
malpractice insurance premiums and paying
back her loans for medical school all it took
was one lawsuit to close her practice and
send her packing. He said he helped her close
up her office - which she had to sell off -
and he said she was in tears as she left her
livelihood - not knowing what step to take
next as she faced mounting debt in her
personal life because of one person who
wanted to take advantage of the system. He
left out the details of the case but drove
the point home that she was most certainly
not at fault. I can only begin to try to
sympathize for the hopelessness this woman
was going through.

The second involved a man who threw his wife
from a moving vehicle going down the highway.
Paramedics were called and they took her to
the emergency room.

Well, she died and the husband sued the hospital... and won - MILLIONS.

CASES LIKE THIS RIGHT HERE
are the problem with insurance premiums. We don't
need more welfare programs such as socialized
medicine that don't work.

For more information on this go to this site
and click on table of contents.

Dangers of Socialized Medicine

Just for reference, a friend of mine who
works at a firm that shops around for
insurance for companies nodded when I told
her about all this and told me that medical
malpractice insurance premiums jumped 50%
last year.

50%!!!!!

I think about the lady who sued McDonald's
for millions because she spilled coffee on
herself and burned her leg.

I think about the guy who attempted to sue fast food
restaurants because he's obese and doesn't
have the will power to resist their marketing
campaigns.

I think about the lawyer last week who was fined a few million dollars by the California bar association for threatening legal lawsuits to businesses on stupid claims (one involved a threat to sue a nail salon for using the same bottle of nail polish on multiple customers) and taking a quick thousand dollar settlement.

I think about John Edwards and his
ilk that get rich off of cases that play on
the emotions of juries rather than common sense.

Its these people that are responsible for the
medical premiums, its these jerks and morons
that are breaking the system.

I was a media student - and I'm all for cameras in the
courtroom for cases of this level. I think
lawyers like Edwards shouldn't be able to
dance around the courtroom in front of a mere
twelve jurors.

I think they should be held
responsible and accountable for the things
they pull in the light of the public.

Yes - there are privacy concerns - I don't want to
air people's dirty laundry on network
television, I don't think its appropriate to
air cases involving trade secrets or divorce
proceedings, but now that we have the means -
we should at least be documenting cases of
this nature - that could essentially have a
nationwide impact on all Americans - and let
American people scrutinize the courts and
lawyers for legislating from the bench and
lying during trials.

I guarantee you that if it doesn't stop BS like this - it will
certainly curtail it - because if people had
to deal with social consequences for pulling
this crap - they'd quit it... or they'd sue
you for making them have a bad day and judging them.

SLICK WILLY SEEKS NEW POSITION AS KING OF THE WORLD

Apparently Billy boy's power trip left him wanting more. (I mean the cigars - get your mind outta the communistic collectivist gutter.)

So my question is this: How does one go about impeaching the Secretary-General of the U.N.?
(I really just thought people should start thinking about it now - you know - pre-emptively; because seriously, he's probably just gonna pull some more of that Clintonesque B.S. - as always)

What REALLY worries me is - If somehow Kerry pulled it out we could possibly have to deal with BOTH of them. I don't know where to check this incompetence out - but he's knowlegeable enough (though he has some very bizarre views on things) that I don't discount it 100% (maybe just 98%). Thats the best you can do? Thats the most preposterous attempt at a scare tactic I've seen to date! Fine - then I'll do the same. I have it on good authority (from a 'secret plan' (the only plan i've heard about from Kerry)) that if Kerry is elected president he's going to ressurect Hitler, put him in charge of the CIA, cure Teddy Kennedy of his affinity for alcohol, and make all the rich people give all their money to the poor so that all the balance of power will be shifted (because you deserve it for doing absolutely nothing). Oh if you vote Kerry - Edwards, not only do you get eternal life, but you also get to own a republican - for concubine purposes and you get to win the lottery twice; once to fund all the abortions you want for the rest of your life - and you get a special bonus for donating the lifeless lump of baby-like flesh for stemcell purposes. (as a democrat or independent you will only be taxed at 85% - not the republican rate of 98.7%) If you vote for Nader you get a free hybrid car - just for not voting Bush, and if you abstain from voting you'll get free health care - at the expense of your health and free government sponsored housing and welfare (funded entirley by republican taxes) because we know you would have voted for Kerry if you could have made it to the polls, its ok. How's that ? You already knew all this? Oh, well I guess the folks at the Democratic Underground already beat me too it then huh...
Man - the one time I get the chance to break a big story. I guess there is a Left Wing conspiracy after all! (the broken chicken wing conspiracy (no offense meant to the chickens, or the wings of the chickens))

Oh come on!!! If there were going to be a draft it already would have happened - and then been struck down by the ACLU and the Supreme Court as unconstitutional. (ironically this would be one of the few times i'd actually agree with the aclu - though had the draft never been ended a lot more people would have respect for authority and we'd have a much more civil and common-sensical society) If they won't let your 'liberties' be infringed by metal detectors at a protest,

http://www.tylerpaper.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=13156314&BRD=1994&amp;PAG=461&dept_id=226374&rfi=6,

based on minor inconvenience, when there really could be a threat from some psycho - do you REALLY think they're going to let a draft go through?

PuhLeeze! It'll never happen.

Next conspiracy theory, thinly veiled scare tactic, please - I'll take a double helping this time!

Why I am Conservative

Why I am Conservative:

Because I believe in a small government and that bloated programs stealing tax
dollars from hard working Americans serve no purpose other than increasing the
size of the government and dependancy for the poor on such governmental
programs.

Because there is proof that "reaganomics" works as opposed to theories that
constrain businesses, restrict competition and create a climate ripe for
layoffs and recessions - while cutting the incomes of people who still hold
jobs and taxing them more to try to recoup the lost revenues for programs that
never should have been instituted to begin with.

Because I value my religious and personal - constitutional and God-given
liberties over perceived civil liberties that are actually nothing more thanprivileges that have become expected and taken advantage of over time.
Because I value free speech - (everyone should be able to reveal their
idiocy so that we know who to no longer listen to)

Because I am adamantly against killing a baby at any stage of development. They claim the woman has a right to choose. I'm for a woman's right to
choose. The man chose as well when they CHOSE to engage in intercourse.I think the child's right to life supercedes the woman's right to choose -
mainly because the child has no voice and the woman already chose. (Note: if
you're going to argue on the basis of rape or incest - the child still wins
because it is innocent and has no say. After all, you can't usually really
determine for certain if there are going to be significant problems with the
pregnancy until the birth - and God still performs miracles) Essentially, I
see it the same as killing a two year old that becomes an inconvenience - and
while you may try to rationalize that its not the same, you can ask God who is
right when you meet him.

Because I support a strong military and strong defense - and would never
listen to anyone who even considered outsourcing our military and given veto
power or prosecutorial power over our troops to another government or
institutional body outside the control or our nation. I don't see how anyone
can even view the Useless Nations as a valid organization - let alone how
laughable the consideration that they could ever accomplish anything unselfish
and noteworthy is.

Because I trust a President that has demonstrated his passion and caring
multiple times, has an active prayer life, has worked to preserve our
fundamental values and ideals, has worked to upend the rantings of activist
judges, has worked to procure tax relief for families, and has stood by every
word he has said in the face of political trials and tribulations and has
demonstrated courage and steadfast determination in the face of adversity time
and time again.

Because I believe that what is said is more important than how well it was
said, or how 'Presidential' one is percieved to look while saying it.
Remember that your vote DOES count. The popular vote is essentially what
determines the electoral college vote - for, the popular vote of each state
determines to which candidate recieves the electoral college votes that are
based on population as a whole. So, rest assured that whoever wins truly
wins.

"TRYING TO HELP" By Dennis Miller

I found this on my random internet searches today.
Here is the site it came from: http://www.barryandandy.com/dmiller.htm

enjoy!

"TRYING TO HELP" By Dennis Miller

All the rhetoric on whether or not we should go to war against Iraq has got my little brain spinning like a top. So with this as a theme, I'd like to apply this theory for those who don't quite get it. My hope is that we cansimplify things and recognize a few important facts. Here are ten things to consider when voicing an opinion on this important issue:

(1) Between President Bush and Saddam Hussein ... Hussein is the bad guy.

(2) If you have faith in the United Nations to do the right things, keep this in mind: the UN has Libya heading the Committee on Human Rights and Iraq heading the Global Disarmament Committee. Do your own mathhere.

(3) If you use a Google or Yahoo search and type in "French Military Victories," don't be surprised if your computer panics at its inability to respond to your inquiry.

(4) If your only antiwar slogan is "No War For Oil," hire a pit bull lawyer and sue your school district for having allowed you to slip through the cracks and robbing you of the minimum education that any non-troglodyte deserves

(5) You can take this one to the bank: Saddam and bin Laden will NOT seek UN approval before they try to kill us.

(6) Despite common belief among some, Martin Sheen is NOT the President. He only plays one on TV. (7) If you are antiwar and even an outright "America Basher," to bin Laden you are still an "infidel" whom he wants dead.

(8) Be careful: if you believe in a "vast right-wing conspiracy," but not in the danger that Hussein poses, the only job you may be able toget is as an Ivy League college professor.

(9) Even multiculturalists who try to browbeat us into believing that all cultures are equally deserving of respect have trouble explainingthe past 500 years of Islam.

(10) Whether you are for or against military action, our young men and women overseas are fighting to defend our right to speak out on these issues. They deserve our unreserved support. I hope this helps

An email sent to the 'economists' attempting to push for minimum wage

An email in its entirety sent to the 'economists' at epi@epinet.org attempting to push for minimum wage. I actually sent this to them. I will be waiting for a reply.

Regarding your "it's time for a raise"
I honestly want a simple answer to my inquiry and rather this is related to politics rather than sound economic judgement.
If the minimum wage is raised, does that not increase the cost of products and services through inflation in terms of businesses and service providers trying to recoup their lost profits? And does this not undermine the entire premise upon which this rationale behind giving such minimum wage is based? I have heard this called the "teenage underemployment act" because by increasing the pay for individuals - it creates a climate where fewer low paying job providers actually hire people. On top of that, by raising the minimum wage and causing inflation across the board, it pushes up the lower end workers - with products and services costing the same percentage as their current pay - and hurting workers slightly higher up on the pay scale - because future raises are pushed back further and their current pay does not increase with the cost percentages of products across the board.
So I ask you this... What does your theory say will come of this raising of the minimum wage? Have all the sides been weighed evenly? I know this is what happened last time when it was needlessly raised. What do you guys honestly believe good can come of this policy you are attempting to push into the political workings other than an attempt at trying to undermine the current administration? I really want a reply here. For instance If someone gets along with and respects their parents they tend to vote like their parents do, and if they don't respect their parent's views they tend to go the polar opposite of their parents. Or, if they live in the northeastern areas where its too cold to get out and vote - or people are too wishy-washy to actually take a stand on the issues, everyone stays independent and never makes up their minds about anything... (of course this could all stem from fragile egos not wanting to be told by some random idiot that they're wrong) So lets all just disagree to agree... or something like that...

I saw this on Kerry's site today:
"After the three presidential debates, John Kerry has left no doubt he has the strength and character to be commander in chief. Well, I have PLENTY of doubts about Kerry's strength and character to be commander in chief, and I seem to recall both he and Edward's spewing tired old rhetoric from their party. And, could someone explain to me which 'specific plans' these were? I recall several references to "my plan" for this and "my plan" for that - but no 'specific plan' was talked about in any depth whatsoever! So here's my proposal. Instead of this back and forth BS, why not just limit each bill to one topic and a set number of relevant provisions related to that topic? That way we will force the candidates to show their true position on all issues and in effect push these bills through with more relevant debate on each individual issue rather than piggy backed issues. It will also end this naysaying (no - I would have voted FOR the war - but the amount of money given was too (high/low, etc.) so i voted against the bill on principals a,b,and g...) Screw that! Why not just have one bill for each topic and let the chips fall where they may? On top of that, do we even need representation anymore? I'm all for it from the traditional view- but with today's technology it would be easier and more straightforward to let individuals vote for each provision personally in private behind their own computers. (granted this could be open to security issues and such) Sorry I just felt like ranting today... I'm not sure how I really feel on the eliminating representation... I just thought I'd throw it out there and see if anyone bites...

Howard Stern's leaving FM

Howard Stern has said farewell to trashing the public airwaves.

He signed a five-year deal with Sirius, to be broadcast over sattelite airwaves so that he is free from FCC regulation.

So my predictions? His base supporters and listeners listen to him on FM radio for free. It will be interesting to see how many people are actually willing to pay for a service they used to have free. Because of this I see him drowning in obscurity and further sinking this company that has took him on. After all - since he can't defy censorship, he loses his edge doesn't he? I mean - if you take away the main thing he rails against whats left? If he ceases to be controversial in a career based on controversy and shock value does that not mean the end of a career? I have also worked at a newspaper for the past year.

I don't think media as a whole is biased - I think the pervasive problem is the way media is structured as a whole and that individuals in media fail to see their own bias and prevent it from seeping into reports - and also that a very few people have a lot of say in what is published.

Also - the perspective and leanings of the viewer and readers play a part in the perception of media bias. Most leftist liberals will say media is overwhelmingly conservatively biased - especially Fox. Conservatives say that it is overwhelmingly liberally biased - Except for Fox. Middle of the roaders tend to see them all as the same regarding bias and have a personal preference based on the style of footage shown - overall pacing and look and feel of the news cast - or concurrent themes and writing styles in papers (including editorials). It comes down to emotion really, based on whether the viewer prefers the hard and fast feel of in your face news, the cheesy and slight relevance of entertainment news, or a more moderately and evenly paced newscast with less visceral impact and a more even tone that doesn't shout at you and get your blood pumping.

The first thing my professors drilled into us was that everyone is inherently biased and that its not the journalist's place to push opinion - but show interviews of both sides and let the viewers decide.

The issues with how media is structured as a whole are as follows:

The problem comes when looking at the larger picture knowing what you believe and writing a story while trying to judge how the viewing audience will react - as well as mounting pressure on job performance. On top of this is how you choose to relay information and pick the people you will interview - as well as which quotes you choose from each party involved and how they balance each other. Columns and reports are limited in length, but convey a lot more information than a 45 second to 1:30 news package that highlights the main points - including two or three sound bytes from 7-15 seconds each.

Ratings come into play a lot during sweeps months because advertising prices are based on nielsen's recorded shares and ratings of each station and network - so the television news at these times is more sensational. That being said - most news - other than local stories, is recycled, all coming from Associated Press, UPI, Reuter's, Scripps Howard etc. and all stations, networks, papers, etc. rely on the facts in these reports. The networks send stories and pre-produced packages to the individual affiliate stations too. They come from everywhere - because all news outlets work with one or more of these companies and or networks and supply stories So one person or outlet can literally drive the entire industry. There are many who check facts along the way - but in most stories - they break so fast and everyone is struggling to get as much information as possible - if a source gives inaccurate information and later denies it who really knows where it originated except the reporter who may not take the time to correct it.I do see a lot of biased headlines from individual AP staff writers lately regarding war and political issues - and we rewrite their headlines according to the true content of the story - trying to remain as unbiased as possible. We don't want to alienate our readership by tainting reports with bias - but we do run AP stories every day that we rely on because we honestly don't have time to check facts in every story they run. We have our local stories and run the same national and world stories that everyone else runs. If the information in these reports is tainted by the orignial author or by some editor trying to push their views - if no one catches it - it will rarely be noticed. We have such a short amount of time to put everything together - unless someone comes forward with a rebuttal - no one will know if something is inaccurate. Also, most people will take the first thing they read or hear as gospel and not follow the story - so if something is disputed they may never know about it. In addition - the majority of people get news from the fast food diet that is television so that get only the facts that are crammed in the 45 second to minute and a half package. Also, a lot of people never read past headlines and never read past the front page. Essentially, there is a lot of room for error - and little time to correct them. Unless something is really major, you may never know there was an error made. Also - a lot of people in media come from a variety of backgrounds - but it really is who you know when it comes time to get a job - especially on the upper levels like networks and larger papers- but its hard to break into local markets too. Everybody knows everybody in this business. Its all about networking - so it is easy to see how a lot of people in the higher levels could conceivably be very like minded as far as their personal bias goes. I honestly believe there is no set conspiracy or intentional bias in most reports. That being said, yes, people will push their personal agenda if they feel strongly enough about it - and feel they can get away with it. Also, many will allow their views to taint their reports without realizing it. And, yes individual reports often do carry bias, but it could be the way the system is set up.

We will each see it how we want to in the end any way, but I don't subscribe to any set conspiracy theory. How can we correct the problems? I don't know. Tighter FCC regualtion would be a start - but that would creat a larger government that I am against. Maybe there should be an independent organization outside governmental control to regulate - but who would run it? Sorry I rambled on but that is how I see things. Anyone have any input on this?

Book entertains killing the President!!?

I don't know what this guy was thinking - but this is definitely extreme fanatacism. Check this out:

http://www.nytimes.com/2004/08/08/books/review/08WEISELT.html?8bu

JOHN KERRY'S COMMANDER DENIED REQUEST FOR PURPLE HEART!

Well, now there's the proof we've been looking for. Apparently at least two of Kerry's medals are now under scrutiny from veterans in general - and his former commander in specific. His commanding officer actually denied his request for a purple heart and what did he do? Got someone else to ok it and sent in the paper work!!! Here's the news story link:

http://www.shns.com/shns/g_index2.cfm?action=detail&pk=KERRY-MEDALS-08-04-04

Letter To Liberals

I don't begrudge the Democrats as a party affiliation, I know there hearts are in the right place and I realize that there are problems within both parties. I think the issues are the same and we have two ways of looking at them.

Democrats take issue with healthcare - wanting to provide for others an affordable system, stem cell research so that diseases that vex us may be cured, abortion - wanting a person to have the right to choose, economy - wanting to help people acheive more - and making businesses responsible, education - making the schools more effective, efficient, and accountable to families and students. You want people to be equally afforded opportunities and allowed to compete for the same resources.

As I'm sure you are well aware, the duality of the political system is split - not because of these issues - but how we would choose to resolve them.

You see, Republicans also take issue with healthcare costs - wanting to provide for others who work or have worked in the past, - not giving people (who don't work) cheap (quality wise) healthcare at the expense of people who already pay a lot for quality healthcare. We don't want to water down the system denying ourselves the little we do have at our own expense. We have seen the ideals of liberals (good in concept) fall apart. Its good to be forward thinking and idealistic, but not to the point that you handicap the nation in pursuit of grandiose ideas that are only half thought-out.

Stem cell research is fine - if it does not involve harming a fetus or using other unethical practices - its not the research that's the problem - but the means.

Abortion - we generally differ based not on the woman's right - they should have rights - but the baby can not speak for itself - the mother made her choice - as did the father when they chose to have intercourse, in the case of rape - the child should still be born. There are alternatives to raising it if it is a financial hardship. (Other than killing it)

We differ on the economy as we both want to help people achieve more by helping small businesses achieve and giving hiring incentives like tax breaks- when you tax businesses more they tend to lay off employees for higher profit margins - but if you give them tax breaks they create jobs. This also stimulates the economy by giving employees more money in their pockets to spend on products and services - rendering more tax money to the government through sales - as a choice they make - not being strong armed into higher federal taxes.

Education - making the schools more effective, efficient, and accountable to families and students can also be acheived through vouchers - because by giving people a choice in their education - the schools will be forced to compete and by virtue will become better. Its like any business or restaurant - if they are forced to compete with competition they have to become better - or they will no longer be in operation and another restaurant or school will come along and take their place.

Democrats want people to be equally afforded opportunities and allowed to compete for the same resources. Both parties have this view. But we believe in a completely colorblind society - by not considering race as a factor at all and diminishing it as a box to check on all documents; rather than giving anyone any leg up based on their ethnicity. Our party is often referred to as racist by the fringe elements or your party and I think many see us that way. Most of us say the same of yours based on democrats perpetually keeping people in poverty by keeping them dependant on handouts - and not offering incentive to work harder and make a life for themselves. Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day... Teach him to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime. This is a problem inherent in your your socialist ideology - you assume that everyone will settle for what eveyone else has - in essence average out into a communistic community leaving the few elites to rule and everyone to have all the same stuff. The problem in this is you ignore human's competitive nature as well as the American's keeping up with the Jones's lifestyle (which may not be the best idealogically, but it's what we are all used to.) In essence it smore like you are taking away from everyone to make everyone equal - except for minorities because they get special treatment. Everyone else must suffer. This seems to be the most centrist theme in your policies.

The DNC frequently made reference to divisive politics. I see nothing more devisive and dividing to the American public than constantly putting down their leader for standing by his decisions and seeing them through. I see nothing more devisive than attacking our patriotism and religious views. I see this far more often on the left. Our liberties are important - but laws and rules and traditions are important to our values because without standards and guidelines chaos will reign. The moral relativism is shattering the values of our youth and the perceived "rights" that are really nothing more than expected privelege - are molding future generations into spoiled whiners - with no historical context and little more than expectation of others to get them by.

On the international level the Democrats want to rely on other nations that at best have proven ineffective - and at worst - untrustworthy - While Conservatives trust ourselves to get the job done and will see our ideals through because we are in it for the long haul and come heck or high water we will acheive our goals regardless of the time or cost. We won't whine that its not getting done fast enough - because we will stick through till the end.

People like Michael Moore would have you believe that kids are dying when in reality they are 18-year-old adults who made the choice to join the militray knowing full well the implications thereof.

He tells you Bush lied when he went by the same intelligence everyone else trusted. We all found the results together - at the same time. We are all in this together. Bush also won all of the recounts in Florida based on the rules set out before the election. It seems to people that you're party will do anything to win - including acting like the election was stolen, rigged, and making the outher guy out to be a liar - when he is not. The negative politics seem to be coming from one side thus far - and it seems like it is from the left - regardless of how often Kerry espouses the adverse.

When activist judges begin writing laws defying the majority rather than interpreting existing laws - we are in trouble. When a party will do anything to achieve/stay in power - it is scary. I fear for the state of democracy because of what is being done. All citizens should have a say in the process, but when the will of the people is disrupted based on the desires of a few amoral - hippocritical whiners who want nothing other than our way of life and values destroyed so they may pervert our nations very foundation and ruin everything we stand for - it's time for something radical to be done. It's time to get back to our basics, and weed out corruption and spiritual abandon. It's time to stand up and say NO! We will not go quietly into the night! We will not stand by and watch the liberals and media and educational systems pervert our children's perceptions; we will not allow them to ruin our sense of morality or our values and we will NOT stand for pluralism and moral relativism. If you want to screw up your kids and your own life, may God help you - but the moment you force your unGodly views on me - you have a problem.

The U.N. is UN-effective UN-Cooperative and Un-necessary.

The U.N. is UN-effective UN-Cooperative and Un-necessary.

Why should we have to worry about the opinion of the

rest of the world when the only groups that should be

concerned with our decision making is the groups we

affect directly?

I say Screw the U.N. and all the pandering leftist

whiners in LA and New York. Oil! We are fighting for OIL!!!
No - we are fighting to liberate Iraqis - it would be

far far easier, less expensive, and less politically

motivated to drill in ANWAR and build some more

refineries. Better yet - why don't we kill and skin

all of the caribou or elk or whatever they are - feed

thehomeless and drill all of ANWAR. We can buid

refineries all around it and save a fortune in

shipping it back and forth to refineries. We'll

refine it there and ship pump ready to go gasoline

back to the states!
--
He hates the wilderness! He is for all the lumber

companies cutting down all the trees!!

Are you really that stupid? What really pisses me off is - I

don't owe reparations and MY ANCESTORS NEVER OWNED

SLAVES!!! Reparations are the stupidest idea in the

world. Yeah - slaver was prevalent - in many

countries and civilizations - yeah it was wrong and

was a dark time in our history - but ITS OVER!!!

People pushing for equality are more prevalent than

ever pushing that mind numbing shut you up philosophy

of race baiting conversations and censoring free

speech by pushing the PC views we have been inundated

with.
I have several black/hispanic/and a few asian

friends. I do not look down on them at all - I see

them as equals - and they are in every sense.
They are on my level intellectually, socially, and

in most cases economically. The people I look down

on are the loud, brash, annoying people who play the

race card effectively ending all discussion.
"I'm right because I'm... 'insert racial minority

here.'"

"And you better shut up and let me talk because your

grandaddy owned my grandaddy"... and so it goes.

Let me restate this... MY ANCESTORS NEVER OWNED

SLAVES!!!

Ok - that behind me - we are truly in a sad state of

affairs. Why should anyone get a job/a college

acceptance/a step up in line - based on racial

preference and profiling? Thats stupid and just

completely backwards to the idea of promoting

equality. Does anyone else see a problem here? I

don't even think your race should be listed on any

federal documents - they shouldn't be able to see any

of that for any inclusion in any process. How does

allowing for open spots in universities for a certain

number of race accomplish anything? They should get

your name, grades, essay, and list of activities and

accomplishments. Thats it - that is all that

admissions should require - and be privy to in any

institution.

We need to promote healthy competition - not racial

infighting. Would you rather meet racial quotas in

your business or hire people based on their

experience and capability of performing the job? My

dad went for an interview and the interviewer told

him he was next in line to be hired - but they had to

hire a racial minority and a woman to fill government

mandates and turned him away!!! WTF?

Racism Inherent in Democratic Party and Liberal Ideology

Racism Inherent in Democratic Party and Liberal Ideology

So you think Conservatives are racist? Why are

Condileeza Rice and Colin Powell in the

adminstration?

Why do conservatives oppose welfare? ITS NOT A

RACIAL THING!!!
We contend that welfare is not effective and is

contrary to an effective government.
Actually we oppose big government and want as little

government interference as possible in our lives.
By giving handouts to people who are able bodied to

work - they are merely teaching people to be lazy.

We know you're capable - if you try. A rock has

potential - but the finest granite can't reach that

potential without work. It just sits there.
I'm all for TEMPORARY benefits - but when we have

third and fourth generation welfare families

(families whose main source of income is welfare) its

a pathetic epidemic and needs to be stopped. This is

not some Myth the VWRC dreamed up either - my Mom

used to work in an office distributing welfare checks

- she knows first hand. Its pathetic. The liberals

lie and say we want to take away whats rightfully

yours while they take our money from us - the working

people and giving it to those who do literally

nothing. I'm all for TEMPORARY unemployed benefits -

but anybody can get a job at Wal-Mart or McDonalds

while holding out for something better.
The liberal would rather enslave you to the welfare

system - give you money that is essentially buying

votes and allow you to be lazy. Then they claim that

conservatives want to take away what they GAVE you in

their vast campaign to get power by manipulating

those they keep under their shoes.

They are enslaving the lower class - to a system that

they put together only to stay in power.
